Students settle university destinations

Congratulations to all those who applied to university this year, an impressive 82% of whom have now secured places at their first choice institutions. As ever, there have been a terrific number of personal success stories among the students involved in the process, but some special praise must be reserved for Dom Caddick, whose fantastic achievement means he will be taking his place to read Economics at Magdalene College, Cambridge, in the autumn.

Popular destinations this year have included Warwick, York, Birmingham, Leeds, Nottingham and UEA, meaning that a familiar face will not be too far away for some on the next step of their journey. Wherever they are headed, we wish all of our students the very best of luck for the future.
