Prestigious Arkwright Scholarship Awarded to Albert Borrell

We are delighted to announce that Albert Borrell in Year 12 has been successful in gaining an Arkwright Scholarship Award after a very competitive application and selection process. Albert has been kindly sponsored by TWI, the Welding Institute based in South Cambridgeshire. Successful students receive £600 as part of the Scholarship and can use this funding to assist their studies, attend technical courses and summer schools. The Arkwright Engineering Scholarships are bestowed on the new Scholars at prestigious Ceremonies in late October in the presences of their parents, their sponsor organisation and various VIPs from industry and academia.
